Back porch sitting, enjoying the SW Colorado sunset, and drinking a cold glass of fresh squeezed lemonade – this is the stuff summer is made for!
I have made this lemonade recipe hundreds of times over the years for my kids and for friends stopping by for a summer BBQ. And sometimes, I make it just for me! My lemonade recipe beats store bought any day of the week.
Fresh squeezed lemonade is SO easy - just 3 ingredients!
What you need:
- 6-8 Lemons
- 2 cups white granulated sugar
- Water
- Ice
What you do:
- Make a simple syrup by adding 2 cups of water and sugar to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temp
- Juice the lemons.
- Combine syrup and lemon juice.
- Add water to taste.
- Chill for about 1 hour, and then pour over ice.
Enjoy the refreshing taste of lemonade during your summer festivities!
