You might not know it from my funny videos, but last week was tough. My restaurant had to close again due to changes in indoor dining rules. To be honest, I feel overwhelmed. I'd like to crawl in a hole and hide. But I won't (I can't do that to my employees and loyal customers.)
When I feel down, one of my antidotes is a simple, achievable project that will give me a sense of accomplishment and, more importantly, joy. My last tip is don't wait for the big holiday to decorate your table. Any day that ends in "y" will do. It just might be what you need to lift your spirts or refocus you on what's most important at the end of a l-o-n-g day.
