Handmade Ravioli Pasta

Handmade Ravioli Pasta

2 minute read

There is something truly romantic and magical about pasta.  Over the years, I've attempted pasta making a few times, but just never stuck with it.  I don't have a pasta attachment (yet), so I worked on a recipe where I could make it without one.  Just a side note: If you're making these without a pasta attachment, it's important to roll the dough WAY for thin than you think.

Instructions

I 1.  In a large bowl whisk together the flour and salt.

22.   Make a well in the center of the flour

33.   Add eggs in the center of the well.

44.  Add olive oil

55.  Knead the dough for 5 minutes.

66.  Form into a ball and leave in a bowl covered with plastic wrap for 30 minutes.

77.  Take a small piece of dough and either run it through a pasta machine or roll thin with a rolling pin. INPORTANT:  It must be made thing & takes a lot of muscle to get the job done.

88.  Place 1 tsp of filling of your choice in the center of the circles.

99.  Brush the edges with egg white.

10.  Please the second circle on top over the filling.

11.  Use a fork to crimp the edges.

12.  To cook the pasta, brink a large pot of salted water to a boil.

113. Cook pasta for 2-4 minutes.

114.  Top with Wendi’s Good Things Market Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce (it’s my favorite!)
